Our roleplay takes place on a fictional Earth. Vampires and Lycans have been at war with each other for as long as either side can remember. These two species are the oldest creatures on Earth. Just 20,000 years ago, the first Human was found roaming the Earth. A hungry vampire attacked the Human and after it drained the mortal's blood, it recieved a sensation that no animal blood had given it. Since the appearance of Humans, Vampires have abandoned their animal prey and targeted Humans. The Werewolves were apalled, since they knew the Humans were exactly like them, only they couldn't change into a wolf. This disagreement caused an even greater tension between the two ancient races. The Vampires wanted to feed on the Humans, but the Werewolves wanted to protect them. This soon broke out as a war between the Werewolves and Vampires. It lasted for nearly 100 bloody years until the Vampires finally surrendered. The Werewolves were victorious because they were the first to discover that it was possible to change a Human into a Werewolf or Vampire. The Vampires, of course, were extremely angry and wanted revenge. Only problem was, their wisest leader was killed during the war, and they had no superior power. Before the Vampire Council could elect a new leader, the enraged Vampires pillaged Human towns and began to feed from them like never before. There was nothing the Werewolves could do about, since they needed to recover from the war. This brought some Humans to utterly hate Vampires, and became Slayers. Slayers would not only attack Vampires, but Werewolves as well because they thought that anything that wasn't Human was dangerous. So, now the four races have been introduced.
